Not a long or particularly noteworthy post. Just a quick note to say I've decided to have 3 class headings for Peril:
Fighters
Experts
Wizards
...the chosen F.E.W.
In addition, demi-humans will not be playable races in the core rules, but perhaps a supplement giving those rules will be made if there is interest. Instead it will be assumed if it is not human, its hazardous, but even people will put you into Peril.

I like it. Fighters rogues ans wizards make the staples of fantasy classes.
And i like humancentric. Not all fantasy settings need the tolkein races
Thanks, I see the Expert though also encompassing things like a bard or an alchemist as well as a thief. The range of abilities for each class will have some overlap, but there will be exclusive abilities for each class as well.

I cant remember which one, but one game ive seen does the 3 classes. one was a fighting base class, another was a skill base class, and the third was a magic base class. it works in that it covers the major aspects of the game.
