Trick or Treat?

As promised earlier this week, here is a new Pocket Full of Peril..but with a twist.  I am going to do a 4 module series using Dyson Logos' Dyson's Delve as the subject.

Dyson's map work has been the feature of past PFoP's and it struck me, while looking at a copy of Stuart Robertson's Masterful mini-module CITADEL OF EVIL, that this could be a cool mash up! A Pocket Mod module series? Truly a Pocket Full of Peril!

So click on the Pocket Full of Peril repository to your right and download the first mini module in the series.

Tip of the cap to Dyson of course for the great adventure to work with and to Stuart for the inspirational pocket mod module design.

  1. The first time I ever folded up a Pocket Mod was one Risus Monkey's Dungeon Words or something. I admit I was a little "meh" on such a little folded book that I needed reading glasses to read. (I loved the content though) Then wandering around here I found the "Zombie Attack" Pocket Mods and fell in love with the format. I just printed out this new one "Dyson's Delve" and I have to say what a great use of the format. Awesome job Chris, my hat is off to you!!! In fact I am amazed at the body of work you have been creating with that format, "Rogue Space", "Zombie Attack", etc. and now "Dyson's Delve" You are a one man game company Sir...Rock On!

  2. @SW-First thanks for the very kind words. Your work, and Dyson's and Stuart's and so many others is very inspiring and helps keep the creative wheels spinning. Sometimes the output is good sometimes...well, I try not to post those. :)

I won't bore anyone with my why's on using pocket mod philosophy, but I am glad the function is over taking issues with the form!

P.S.-I am still looking forward to seeing some new maps SW! Why not some city or neighborhood geo's for me to use with Zombies Attack or maybe an alien outpost to use with Rogue Space and Far Trek?-talk about pockets full of peril!

  6. I like the Buckshot RPG! I was working on a Spaghetti Western miniatures skirmish game but it is now morphing into a fantasy one. Who knows, maybe I will release both eventually.

  7. @AK-Thanks! I think its really a good open system game and with WANTED supplement, gives you a good bit of simple adventuring. I love skirmish war games-so I really look forward to seeing what you come up with!
